butterfly
world is an ambitious
project. To gain the 250,000 annual visitors needed, the
project has to be located somewhere highly accessible.
The butterfly world
site at Chiswell Green in Hertfordshire is the perfect
location for a major public attraction. It is well served
by two motorways – the M1 and the M25 - and excellent
public transport.
Visitors will be drawn from large areas of the Midlands,
the East of England and Southern England, with more than
15.5 million people living within one hour’s drive
in a 40 mile radius that includes Greater London, Northampton,
Stevenage, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Chelmsford, Reading,
Oxford and Cambridge. From the point of view of visitor
accessibility, things couldn’t be better.
