As a non-profit making exhibition, butterfly world will be free to donate all its profits to other charitable organisations and projects. These will include the following:

Butterfly Conservation (www>)
Britain’s leading butterfly organisation.
Conserving butterflies is undoubtedly a difficult task, but has benefited from decades of pioneering research, much of which has been pioneered by members of Butterfly Conservation and of our team.

Fauna & Flora International (www>)
Fauna & Flora International (FFI) is the world's longest established international conservation body, founded over 100 years ago. FFI acts to conserve threatened species and ecosystems worldwide, choosing solutions that are sustainable, are based on sound science and take account of human needs.

rain forest charities
60% of insect species are dependent on the world’s fast disappearing rain forests.
butterfly world will support projects that help poor communities in these areas develop sustainable businesses that do not threaten the forests.

scientific research

Universities & institutions such as Rothamsted Research (www>), based in Harpenden (near our site) will be funded to support specific plant and invertebrate studies.
